Halfway thru, there is a good bit about Spurn Head, plants and creatures that live there, not far from you I believe. Thought you might like to see it. I'd love to go there one day.

 

Thanks Zigs....missed it but will catch it again....it's a great place and yes not far from me.....Spurn Head looks like it won't be around for that much longer though as it's getting eaten up by the sea

 

That keeps happening, it will always come back for the time being, due to the deposition of the sediments.

I'll give you a shout when i'm going up there. In Sussex at the moment.

 

I say Zigs sad news tonight....there is a comunity of folk who live on Sprun point (lifeboat crew and families) and today they've had to move off....corosion etc....they must be gutted...now having to start living the 'regular' way....they must have had a wonderfull time out there on the 'point'....it really is a fabulous place....i suppose alot of folk would wonder what all the fuss was about....very little to see unless you actually look..... The Humber is a dodgy river ,currents ,sand banks and the likes....those families have had a lot to cope with ....really feel for them tonight
