Hi, I've been putting some new roses in my flower beds & i'd like to know when I can start giving them some liquid feed & when I should start mulching them with some farmyard manure?
    Thanks in advance :)

You can mulch them now with manure Beckie. There's no need to dig it in as worms will do the work for you. I start off my rose year with chicken manure pellets as horse manure is to heavy for me to shift now. Towards the end of May I will scatter some BFB around them and again at the end of July as their last feed of the season. Mine also get a layer of home made compost at the beginning and end of their growing season. :)
