    Hello all.

I bought this last year and cant remember what it is. I was looking to research its requirements as its done quite well in a year from something that was on its last legs in the supermarket.

    Anyone know what it is?

    Thank you kindly. plant.JPG

Satisfying when you can pull them back from the brink, isn't it?
I used to have one, can't remember for the life of me what it is, though!

Tempted to say one of the Calathea species. It is a large genus though, so not much help.

Yes, Im always looking for plants that have neglected in the stores. 6 years ago I came across an Acer Butterfly reduced to 39 pence. A small, twiggy and dried plant. Today it is one real nice looking plant in a pot and has put on loads of growth and size is very good. Despite its name which may suggest a fragile plant, it seems much hardier than the more desired red varieties.

LonK is correct, I think it is Calathea Wave Star or Greenstar.
