Can anyone recommend a trail camera, one which can take video and stills?

Thinking of buying similar, so I'll be interested in any replies.

I know nothing about them, so thought of starting small and working up if necessary. I'm pondering about this one, it appear a good price at the moment.

Yes, we got a Campark TC06 trailcam in late January. There are a number of different models of camera in the Campark range. I allows wifi data transfer to a phone, at a range of about 50mtrs. This means you can download images and video from the camera, without having to take the memory card out. It can't be downloaded remotely from a distant location.

We also got the solar panel soon after getting it. The solar panel has a built in battery and charges its own battery during daylight, which then powers the camera overnight. The internal 8x AA batteries were lasting two to three weeks when shooting 20 to 25 second videos.

The shoot time is adjustable, as is stills, multiple stills, still image and video or just video. While video uses more battery power and memory, we felt it gives a better chance of catching creatures, as animals were already in frame centre by the time the camera triggered.

It shoots colour daytime, black and white ( IR ) at night and has what it calls Starlight mode, so that at dawn and dusk, it enhances what little light there is to give a colour image when other cameras would still be shooting B&W.

This is the first few videos from the camera.....

The second video has some colour, daytime footage towards the end of the video.

@ArmyAirForce Thanks for the info, I'll pass it on to the other half as she has been wanting one.

I have a Ceyomur CY95. Good quality videos and photos. It has a solar panel so I rarely have to charge it. Using Bluetooth to download photos is good too.
