    hello,
    i have a kilmarnock willow,grown as a standard, would it be safe to move it now, thanx

    As you're moving, you don't have a lot of choice. Are you going to be able to put it straight back into the ground in your new house, or will it be in a container? if it's in acotainer,try to keep it in a frost free place so the disturbed roots don't get too much of a shock, containers suffer from frosts more. Also be careful not to disturb the graft.

    i will be digging out of ground, and straight into a prepared planting hole, just stripped my 10 x 8 greenhouse and moved it and put it up in the new house next door, garden looks a lot better already
