Help! I have 3 apple trees of varying ages, 1 year. 3 years and 8 years old. This year the youngest one had lots of blossom on, the middle on a bit, the older one none at all. I only got one apple from the trees on the year old one! I have only once had about 6 apples on the 8 year old tree. What am I doing wrong? I prune them in November and then let nature get on with it. I see so many apple trees on roadsides that a laden with apples, why aren't mine. I would be grateful of any advise anyone can give. My dream is to have a nice little orchard in my garden!:help:

I'm no fruit expert, but I'd be tempted to suggest it's possibly how you're pruning.

What varieties are you growing? Also how are you doing your pruning?
    Just had a further thought......
What type of tree are they. Are they bush or one of the restricted forms such as cordon or espalier?
