    006.JPG 007.JPG Can anyone id this for me, had it about 3 years so has survived both bad winters leaves are still only small at the moment but get over 12 inches round I think produces a flower spike but cant remember , bought it at a rare Plant sale for £1.00 no label on and the lady had forgot what it was called, I know it likes damp and half shade.

    Looks like a Rheum.
    They do like damp areas and can get quite large. It's related to Rhubarb and once established it will throw up a tall, quite impressive flower spike at this time of year.

    Doesn't look right for a Rheum to me; leaves too rough looking, similar to Gunnera though, perhaps a rare smaller variety?? :what:
