      I'd like to be able to find an (affordable!) plant or two of Hidcote Giant. Lots of Hidcote for sale at ... you guessed it! ... "Hidcote", appealing to the massed tourist visitors, no doubt, but I didn't find any Hidcote Giant on offer

      Have you thought of growing from seed Kristen, they are fairly easy. I have just ordered seeds for 'Bush Baby' which I will start off in February/March. :)

      Had assumed they wouldn't come true from seed, but TBH I hadn't googled or anysuch ... I'll do that after my supper :)

        There is a picture I still regret not taking as I was roaming around the very north tip of Washington State on the Pacific coast side. It was a field of lavender. I saw it from the road down a path and should have turned in. Seemed that in this area lavender does really well.
