    Hmm..

They'll find a use for "anything" won't they?
I'm surprised they don't sell "elephant dung" and say "keeps 99% of pests away!"

A neighbour, who inadvertently transformed her back garden into a superloo for the local feline population by covering it in shingle, tried lion poo as a cat deterrent. It didn't work. It just made the shingle look even more scummy than usual.

Why should cats be deterred by lion poo?

Unless the cat is taken regularly to a zoo and shown a lion, it isn't going to work. Surely the deterrent can only work by "association?"

Now show 'em a garden hose and they'll know what it's about!

I don't suppose deer are au fait with the threat from lions, either.

Don't know whether it is any good for Roses or not - but it certainly doesn't keep deer out. The only thing that keeps them out is fences. Tried everything else for years so I know !

I personally have not tried it but all the zillions (not quite) posts of it here on GC it is quite useless for any purpose it is intended. :hehe:

Save your money and buy a lovely shrub you fancy.
