Linaria purpurea, or purple toadflax, thrives by the canal where I live. I'm usually unable to get a good picture as the tiny flowers tend to blur, but I took these today which I'm not unhappy with - though being of only individual flower-heads they don't really do justice to the overall appearance of the plants. Its an interesting plant and seems to love our climate and environment. EkJBPfyXcAEXHbF.jpg EkJBPfyXcAEXHbF.jpg EkJBVu4XkAMbstv.jpg

I have purple and pink toadflax growing here. Love it and great for Bees and other pollinators :wub2:. It self seeds everywhere and is not fazed by strong salt laden winds.
