Not familiar with all of them but I've grown blue moon, and was not impressed. Whisky mac is, as I recall good one. The others I've never heard of.

Where roses are concerned I would suggest from my experience that you really need to buy specific varieties that are known to be disease resistant, etc - as well as getting the type of rose, flower colour and shape that you want. However give the daily mirror offer a whirl and let us know what you find [IMG]

I grow a mixture of hybrid teas, floribunda, shrub and old english - as well as few david austin.

blue moon was from the 60's/70's - first"blue" rose - but it isn't really - never much liked it. Although I've worked pricncipally with roses, I don't know anything about the others either, sorry - but the best source of info is the RNRS - see their website - http://www.rnrs.org/

Whisky Mac is lovely (and has a lovely perfume), I have one from a cutting of my daughters' so it must be easy. Pascali is one of my favourite whites. I've never had much success with Blue Moon, and don't know the others.

Take care buying offers in papers, they are not always as cheap as they sound. I have just bought 7 new hybtid T at a cost of 2.50 each, all fantastic condition, well established and in large pots.

I have grown Blue Moon which I dug out - can't stand blue roses, but this one you grow for scent. the rest are good old faithfuls.

    good Luck

pascali is a beauty I think, the best white rose I have had, whiskey mac prima ballerina and sunblest are good ones too. Blue moon I have found is dissappointing for everyone I know who has had it but, this year I am trying one called "once in a blue moon" which I was told is a lot better
