Sweet Potatoe

How easy are these to grow and where can you buy them.

Have never cooked them myself but have had them as a veg when out for dinner.

So tonight oven roasted sweet potatoes ,carrots and courgette together with a little olive olie and paprika then popped in oven with tatties to roast for half an hour just perfect and ever so tasty.

I've never grown them - so don't know how easy they are to grow, but they might be problematic up here, since they're quite definitely foreigners!
T+M say they're not problematic..... worth a try?

 

I meant to try them last year, I think we had the same discussion!
Pete grew some supermarket ones and did get a crop, but I think the T&M ones are a better bet for our climate.

Must try them this year, I love them roasted as Scotkat says with any other veg., peppers andsquash being a favourite mixture.
