Maybe Trump is playing an April Fools Day trick? Except that he does it every day.
I can’t wait for his press secretary to go on maternity leave, it can’t be long now. I hear that she prays before each appearance to deliver blatant lies on behalf of Trump. Maybe for forgiveness? However, as a good catholic, she must be aware that one of the prerequisites for being given absolution for her sins, is that in addition to being truly sorry, you have to intend not to repeat the sin. Awkward. Maybe the prefix, ‘the President says’ will excuse her from the letter of the law, if not the intention.

 

I thought Trump's latest "plan" was to leave it to others to sort out. According to him, the US has more oil than they know what to do with so he's bored with the whole Iran thing now. Not particularly surprising.

 

Is anyone into bashing the Israelis, I know Trump keeps sprouting but the Israelis are as much to blame if not more, they just dont say anything.

@Ergates I saw an article that says Trump's approval rating is now at -17 and he thinks the problem is that the press secretary is not doing her job well. Should he fire her or not? Decided to keep her because of the way her mouth moves! It's beyond belief.

 

I awoke just after 0200 hrs this morning and put the radio on to catch the bulk of Trumps speech to the US and I have never heard such a load of self aggrandising drivel in my life, I believe he must have written it himself it was so bad.
Afterwards one reporter said they hadn't understood it.
Fortunately there was then a relaxing rational documentary about salt production in the "Rann of Kutch"
Fortunately "Today" on Radio 4 led with the launch of the Artemis rocket and barely mentioned the speech until 0700 hrs.
