Any ideas?

    Got these 2 from Beeches Nursery last year, but have lost the labels.

    1. Heuchera, heucherella, tiarella, one of that tribe. Could conceivably be an acer if it has woody stems and a little trunk.

    2.Ligularia, most probably. There's something else at the bottom, that pointy, arrowhead shaped leaf, an arum I expect.

    No, not Heuchera.
    I seem to remember being told it was from Scandanavia. And also dies down completely in winter.

    Yup, does look like a Ligularia

    Looks as if it could belong to the acer family.

    It is a perenial, not a tree.
    The foliage does look similar though. :huh:
