    I've posted this thread here instead of in the Computer forum because of its seriousness.

    I quote my son...Google, Facebook and Apple have been breached and 16 billion passwords taken. Passwords should be changed.

      Thanks for the info. I don't have any passwords for any of those but having looked on the net it is possible that it is not as worrying as it seems from the headlines in most of the media.

      A few of internet nerdy sites :heehee: don't seem to think it is a sudden problem and this is one of them that seems to explain it in language that I, sort of, understand.

      No, the 16 billion credentials leak is not a new data breach

          @Sheal It's typical of all our 'mainstream' media that they only report the sensational side of the news without checking the facts or the other side of the news.
