Elephant Garlic

    Went to Hampton Court Palace Show yesterday and hubby bought a elephant garlic to plant in september.Question!! How do i store it til then.

    I'd say it needs to be kept somewhere cool and dry, not in the dark:blue thumb:

    As it's way too early for elephant garlic even to be harvested now, let alone be prepared for planting, I suspect the clove(s) may have come from another part of the World or has been kept in prolonged, controlled storage.

    Perhaps you could ask the seller just how they they Elephant Garlic cloves so early?
