First tree

    Here is the first plant we put into the garden of which is now been there for seven years.

      Thanks Ziggy for that, the old tree is now fortyfive years old as she was 35 when I got her.
      John, the digger did come in very handy too. We would not have been able to get the tree into position without it. Bless the Scont tt350, she has seen better days though.

      Still the Oak tree is a fine one and has served the family well, including the dog chasing squirrels around it. Hope that she will serve many a family many years of happiness and not chop it down like so many have been to get other things into their gardens.

      These broad leaved varieties need to be kept if we are to help the wildlife in the country.
