    Looks like a Hellebore, don't know which one though :)

      Hellebore. If the leaves smell very unpleasant, then it is H. foetidus. Otherwise possibly H. lividus or one of its forms. Don't think the leaves are serrated enough for H. argutifolius.

        Looks like the one that flowers in winter/early spring and has pale green flowers (can't remember the name) :doh:. I should do as our garden is covered in it.

        If I'm correct it can spread like mad and grows up to thigh high. Can't access my photos for a few weeks as my computer and back up drive are in hospital having an overhaul for the new year.

          Thx all, It does have a certain smell to it :eeew:
          If it spreads like mad, I might have to keep it in a pot for now.
          Think it was only potted up a few weeks ago
