Moving roses

    I have a 'Red hat lady' that i want to move. Is it to late to move it now or wait until early spring?

    Its 2 years old and about 5 inches high x 12 inches wide. It has got new flowers buds that have not opened yet, so im not sure if this affects if it can be moved.

    I would wait a month (November)until it is in its dormant state,and then very lightly prune before moving .:)

      Would this be typical of any rose. I have a standard which had been grafted some time ago (not by me) but is crowded out by next door's holly tree (I hate holly)

      Good morning Archie,to err on the side of caution I always try to answer all our friends posts in text book style:)But My own personal answer would be if you need to move your standard Rose my friend then by all means move it now(I move Roses at all times during the year):WINK1:Hope this helps.:)
