Pollution????

If you have stopped smoking ? a lot of the above is what happens while your lungs are clearing out all the muck and its not than unusual to have a inhaler, I know quite a few in work that have stopped over the past two years and 2 out of the 6 have inhalers which they never had while smoking.

 

That's an interesting point. I haven't stopped smoking, although at one point I did try while I was at the worst of my lurgy, and it just got worse still. Against every widely accepted piece of advice, I found that smoking was the only thing to give me some relief. Well that and some anti-histamine tablets that practically knocked me out for 24 hours at a time

 

when stopping smoking it can also make your gums bleed when brushing your teeth as smoking reduces blood supply to your gums also thins the bone in your jaw .
The pollution in Surrey was bad as my mum lives in a retirement village and quite a few of the residents got whipped off to the hospital more than normal .
