    Did anyone else watch this?

First screened on BBC last Saturday, I've just watched it on iPlayer.

    Words fail me!

Just had a brief look at the overview on IMDB - not sure if its something I would watch to be honest, very weird.

The project was short-sighted, in my opinion, became more cruel as it progressed and ... saddening.

I began watching it because I thought it would be an interesting experiement. While it was interesting, it was for the wrong reasons :(

Don't know what it's about but sounds as though I wouldn't want to watch it. Don't like the words 'cruel' or 'saddening'. Much prefer 'interesting', 'funny' etc to describe programmes I would like to spend my time watching. Probably the reason I don't watch much.

I cannot stand any form of cruelty to animals, however allegedly well intentioned or experimental, so for that reason I won't be watching.

Funny thing is, if someone else had posted about it, I wouldn't have watched either!

Shiney, totally agree - this one caught me off guard because I like "factual" too.

I don't know what it's about as I haven't bothered to look at it. Actually, I never look at iplayer!

I sat and watched this last night. whatever you think of it, it is riveting viewing. It is sad, and also rather cruel in places but I suppose when someone is pushing boundaries, trying something different and controversial it will be hard on the animal concerned.

I think the basis of the "cruel" aspect (for me, at least) was that from the very beginning there was no long term strategy for Nim; everything seemed to happen on an ad hoc basis. None of the changes in Nim's life appeared planned, more knee-jerk?
