If those of you like Mum cannot get rid of stains from their mugs here are a few tips.
    1) Use a sterilising tablet in the mug, leave overnight for best results.
    2) Use a stainless steel type scouring ball to clean out the mug.
We use these a lot as so many people are drinking tea or coffee here.

Cheeky monkey! It wasn't me having the problem with tea stains :heehee: I gave the correct method on how to deal with them :ccheers: (Soda crystals and hot water - soak, then use a gentle scouring pad)

I think the forum's developing an unhealthy obsession with tea stains, i suggest we now move on to coffee stains.

Tea stains, It was me with the dreaded problem and it was Mum and her soda crystals who came to the rescue!

But I think there were many more with the same problem looking at the length of the last thread

And Miss Jiff has fully recovered from the mishap

Edit, also Scrungee said soda crystals as well,
soda crystals and warm/hot water worked best for my mug

Baby bottle sterilising tablets also work well too.

How many feathers are we talking about, a whole owl or just the odd feather?

Did you spill your tea whilst doing curcuits and bumps? :snork:

Hi Woo, love your mugs, assuming we're talking about these, mum's remedy might work. Try bowl of warm water and soda crystals ( read packet for info).
