    Any ideas for the name of this plant that sprouted up between brick paving beside my greenhouse ? The stem is very woody and the flowers resemble green thistles but soft.

    :thumbsup: Yep, totally agree.. A real pain though if you have a dog or a cat as the seed burs catch in they coats & are a nightmare to get rid of..! :WINK1:

    Thank you very much, of course it's Burdock, should have known. All that Dandelion & Burdock fizzy I have drunk, perhaps I could make my own.

    If you can get the root out, yes. They grow upto a metre long and can be as thick as a baby's arm.

    I make my own Dandelion Coffee, might try blending it with that.
