I use Avast free virus protection and am quite happy with it but they keep trying to get me to take their super duper upgraded protection for a fee. They seem to try and frighten me into it. They tell me:- "Your sensitive documents are unprotected" - I don't have any! "Your online banking transactions might not be secure" - I don't do online banking! "You have no way to identify suspicious email attachments" - I don't open attachments unless I have already arranged to receive an attachment! "You're at risk of landing on fake websites" - possible but I rarely (almost never) go to websites! "Your WIFI connection might not be secure" - good luck to them, Our wifi doesn't even work part of the way through the house and we need to be hard wired! etc. etc. etc.
Years ago I used Avast until I found it was slowing my computer down a lot. It was quite difficult to get every last trace of it off my computer.
It's an improvement on the original idea, where faecal samples were liquidised and then administered as an enema or down a long gastric tube into the small intestine.
It just goes to show that these vegans are evil people who enjoy inflicting suffering on helpless plants.
I do apologise to onions and parsnips and celery and anything with a root before I cut them up. They could live on if it weren’t for me. Many many years ago I knew a Japanese man in London. He was a Buddhist, of what denomination I don’t know. One day, while walking in the park, he accidentally stood on a bumble bee that was snoozing on the path. He put his palms together, raised them to his forehead, and bowed slightly. I thought it was charming and I wish more people had that approach to other beings.
I don't remember the details or if it was a new craze but I'm sure there were reports of mothers eating some of the babies poo, or possibly the other way around. I think it was one of these health promoting crazes like eating the placenta. On a similar theme we met a chap who's dog nipped into the bushes recently and ate something but a few hours later started to act odd, swaying and generally being unstable. They rushed it to the vet and £1200 later discovered it had eaten someone's poo that contained cannabis.
I'm not sure how anyone can actually "land" on a website but if you can and it's a fake, you'd squash it flat.......... problem solved without paying some tech thing to do it for a fee. As for the obesity problem, there seems to be a large number of people working in the medical/dental profession who are, to put it kindly, rather chubby. Not much point in the NHS whining about the cost of obesity issues when a number of their frontline staff can be described in those terms. @pete Eating cardboard is actually quite a good idea as Recycling centres round here are moaning about the huge amount of cardboard they collect from households each week. Toasted with a good spread of Indian chutney perhaps ?
As long as it's plain, we never throw away cardboard but use it to cover bare soil in the veg plot and polytunnel. i've been known to ask shops if I can have the empty boxes they stack outside for collection. As for mass obesity, that can be traced to the industrialisation of food and all the chemical processes and ingredients used to make it form the cheapest ingredients with little nutritional value. Fast white bread, hydrogenated fats and mechanically recovered meat and carbonated sugary drinks have a lot to answer for along with fibre free, sugar dense breakfast cereals, cakes, biscuits and confectionery that people eat all day long.
Maybe they need to offer, how to build a campfire. LOL. At my house, we can burn outside. Over in a corner I have the "burn" pile, prior to lighting it, I lawnmower all around making sure anything dry around it is up and on the pile, then I drag the hose down close to it. I also do not start it on windy days. We also have in our house a wood stove in the basement and a fireplace in the living room, skill is needed to start both to not get smoke in the house.
can anyone here translate the words on this for me? and Language. thanks. https://youtube.com/shorts/YoKKOWjj3l4?si=K6t8KH0ZLygMO3zy
