Trump was just on out news programme and he sounds totally Peed off with Israel.

And I can see where he is coming from, they get him to bomb Iran's nuclear capacity, which he does, they they carry on attacking Iran anyway.

We don't know how much damage was done to their nuclear programme, time will tell.

Yes, Israel appears to be living in the middle of a part of the world where none of its neighbours like them, but does it ever try to get on with any of them.

Its just out of hand now I can only think Israel in on a path to total war, and if any country needs regime change its Israel.

Netanyahu has claimed Iran were making nuclear weapons since 1992 and in all that time I don't believe there has been an ounce of evidence made public to substantiate that claim. I heard this morning that someone in American intelligence actually stated that there was no evidence they were planning to produce them now either. It is widely believed that they have the ability and know how but not necessarily the desire.

Trump is of the very much mistaken belief that other countries will do as he says.

Over 50 some years of cooking and baking, I used to make banana bread the typical way, the batter, then cutting chunks of banana and tossing in with walnuts. Ran across a different method, same ingredients, Except you take the 3 ripe bananas in a bowl and whip it to a liquid with your beater, then you pour it into the batter, add the walnuts if wish then. I don't use walnuts. Anyway, it comes out much nicer. Bake at a lower temp, 325 for one hour or until toothpick clean.

and one day will get around to make banana pudding, my mother made yummy banana pudding. She made the custard from scratch, used the vanilla cookies as the edging. Yum. just have to make sure skinny husband eats it all.

This morning, I popped in the oven a zucchini, potato bake, in the cast iron skillet. it is a mixture of shredded onion, one medium size zucchini, 3 eggs, 2 potatoes, feta cheese, rice flour, pour all into skillet that has some olive oil in it. I used some Old Bay to season with. even good cold.

BTW my Annabells are huge and full of flowers

Possibly similar to the weapons of mass destruction that Saddam Hussein was reputed to be building, I dont think they eventually found any.
Obviously something going on deep under ground in Iran though.

@redstar As I seem to have a glut of courgette (zuchini) at the moment, your recipe sounds worth a try so thanks for the idea :)

Except for ripe bananas which I sue for making cakes, I agree @Philippa.

The current Iran régime has publicly stated its desire to eliminate israel and has been financing all sorts of nasty people such as Hamas and Hizbollah to further its aims. It will need more than a slap. Banning all religious dogma everywhere in the world plus equal rights and education for all races and sexes would be a good start to eliminating this kind of idiotic, bigoted thinking.

I'm not sure Israel would go along with banning religious dogma. That's their raison d'etre.

You would also get objections from the Saudis, the Vatican, certain "Christian" churches in the US and Africa to mention but a few.

I like them but they give me nausea. Mind, the list of foods that do that is quite lengthy, so I don't lay the blame on the banana itself.

Indeed so. A tragic state of affairs for a species with the luxury of a brain that can reason.

@ViewAhead, do you have problems with avocados or are allergic to latex? I was advised that they and bananas share a similar feature ?the plants are related? Was warned to be aware that patients who reported allergies to the fruits could potentially be over sensitive to latex.

Sorry but botanically they are not related at all: bananas are monocots and more closely related to gingers; avocados are dicots and closer to garden laurels.
There could be some related biochemistry between avocado, banana and the rubber tree (Ficus elastica).
Allergies can be more than a little odd; I met someone who was allergic to tomatoes, onions and peppers but not potatoes; they also had several other allergies that I've forgotten as it was a while ago.
