What's this?

Two of them have sprung up and I don't know what they are,

Yes, looks like borage - the flowers look good frozen in ice cubes. They turn into triffids and self seed everywhere, but are annuals so not a serious problem.

 

They catch you as you walk past too the little blighters. Not what I would describe as a beauty of a plant but the flowers would look ace in ice cubes-nice idea Aaron.

 

I've keeping meaning to grow some borage, as I think it is an ace plant, but I keep forgetting about it for some reason. Its strange, borage is one of those plants that I really like when someone reminds me of it, but then quickly forget about for some reason.

 

If I remember and don't deadhead I will send you the seeds.

 

The slugs love them when they're seedlings, so start off somewhere safe and sow a few so at least some of them make it.

 

had some all over the plots we are using at college some of them had mutated and we had white a pink flowered ones too =]
