Any ideas please!

    This is growing from a very old root in a very shaded bit of the garden. Does anyone have any ideas what this is at all?

    I was worried it might be Japanese knot weed...

    Relax it's not Japanese Knot weed.
    Could be a sycamore or maple.

      Definately not Japanese Knotweed but I don't know what it is.

      Hi @toppington, I get those in my garden too, I dig them up ASAP :blue thumb:. I agree with the others it's a sycamore :)
