Would you please recommend any suitable wooden base for my aluminium green house.

I found green pressure treated wood in local timber yard. Will it be any good for ground contact?

It is aluminium greenhouse 3.82 meter by 2.46 meter

Green house is not heavy and will go on soil?

I've got my allotment greenhouse on a treated timer base, not ideal but it will last a few years.
The one in my garden is on a concrete base.

there is another option in local timber yard. They have brown softwood pressure treated railway sleeper?

      Will it be any good?

Concreting is an option but I am worried I may struggle to level it and have never done before.

Can I suggest you get help to sort a solid base if you're not confident to do it? You really need it solid and permanently flat or you'll have trouble

        Okay....

Any steps to build solid base? Could I put timber/sleeper on top of solid base?

For my greenhouse I dug out a trench the size of the base, half filled it with hard core and then used anchors from the greenhouse supplier to sit the base on. Once I had the base level and square I finished filling the trench with hard core, this secured the anchors in the trench.

Hi Mane, its just normal 5x2 I treated it myself with fence paint, it will probably only last 6/7 years, you can buy it at most DIY stores, if your ground is quite flat I wouldn't really recommend it,

If you insist on wood I would go for landscaping sleepers as mentioned try eBay for a local supplier.

The best tool for levelling concrete shuttering is a water level. Very easy to make from a bucket, a length of clear tubing and a stick. I used one to level a 15ft od x 13ft id concrete ring foundation on ground that slopes in 2 different directions.

I would say dig your self a trench 2 inch wider than your greenhouse and concrete a strip in it just using a normal level just doing the length of the level at a time but been a builder it might not be as easy depends on your diy skill I guess
I would not use soft wood sleepers they will not last very long if your going to use any you want pressure treated timber may be 4x4 that should give you a far but of time before they want replacing
