Hmm, interesting fat controller. Apart from the 'Our Garden and Other Animals' Album, the 'Angora Goats and Mohair' and 'YRMA Photos' Albums are quite widely advertised. This copy of the slide was mistakenly set to private but the original grotty copy of a print which I used was public. I quite regularly invite individuals and organisations to use my photos so it is all a bit odd. Because my eyesight isn't brilliant it has been known for me to miss some vital instruction.

It will be tomorrow at the earliest @Oakridge, sorry - I am nursing one hell of a headache after smacking my bonce of the corner of a shelf at work today.

I am not so bad today thanks all - when Mrs C checked last night, I'd cracked it enough to let a wee bit of claret out, but nothing too serious. The lump has more or less gone down today, and the headache is clearing (still there a bit, but not enough to worry me).

I have kept it quiet from the H&S mafia (I like that term @Oakridge ) which wasn't easy as they are located in the adjacent office to ours, and a couple of my colleagues were fussing over me a bit (bless them, they are a good bunch).

@Oakridge, would you be able to try something for me? Could you resize your browser window so you have your browser on one side, and the folder containing your photos on the other - something like this:

          Oakridge1.png

Then try and drag a photo of your choice from the folder into the text box where you write your post. I have just dragged a file called hotel.jpg and as you will see from the below, it is now shown below the textbox:

          Oakridge2.png

To insert it in the post, all I then do is get to the point in my text where I want the photo, and click on the "Full Image" button

          hotel.jpg

I am wondering if doing it this way might resolve your problem.

I assume you didn't do too much damage to the shelf.
Shelves are not easy to come by, and dont grow on trees you know.;)

Nah, the shelf is fine @pete - the twenty or so reams of paper weighing the blighter down ensured that it didn't even as much as quiver :snork:

The world is against us, I wonder if it is a Linux quirk. I tried your suggestion and got the error message:

              The following error occurred:

The photo I tried was 264kb. Is your limit 2mb?

The limit is 4mb, with the ability to resize on the fly, so in theory an oversize file (within reason) will be resized as it is uploaded.

Maybe it is a Linux thing, although I have no idea why that would be.
