@Zigs no worry about gas. They're only restricting gas to large commercial companies. I don't think you come under that classification.

We've been checking with 'vulnerable people' that we know (all OK) and have been told that we come into that category as well! :old: :yikes: :snorky: I suppose it's just a matter of a point of view.

I'm just popping out to fight my way through the snow to fill up the bird feeders. I didn't realise they needed filling again until a robin kept coming onto the windowsill in the kitchen and was pecking at the glass. :)

Yes @Sandy Ground it's the long, fast straight (Cronk-y-Voddy pronounced Cronk-er-Vothy )between Glen Helen and Kirk Michael. Below an image from the internet.

The snow caused devastation throughout the farming community in a matter of days with nearly 15,000 animals lost, that's a huge amount for an island just 36 x 13 miles in size.

@Sheal I used to love racing there. To be able to recognise part of the course after 40 years shows just how well it has to be remembered.

                  So sad about the animals.

I think for those that race/have raced in the TT the course has to be imprinted in the mind, even forty years on like yourself. :) It's too dangerous not to know every bend or bump.

                        I read in today's paper.

In Britain it was called "The beast from the East."
In Finland, it was called, "Wednesday."
