    and the house, this lady has. is a beautiful historic old stone house, sets way up on the hill. she is from Poland, Poland accent and all. her husband some Phd in something, forgot. anyway, have to get over there to buy stuff. she also just gives stuff away when too many veggies.

    Aha that explains a lot then, many of the Polish have a natural affinity with nature and just seem to know what is right when it comes to gardening. My father and his brothers were of Lithuanian parents and all of them were green fingered not so much for flowers but for veg, they all seemed to know exactly what to do to produce bumper crops.
