Rhipsalis baccifera

Lots of berries every winter ...

 

Used to help run a cactus nursery in the 80's ; seldom if ever came across Rhipsalis !
The white fruits are interesting ; have you ever tried raising plants from seed ?
Yours looks very healthy !

Here is Cousin Itt, which I have named it, in May last year ...

Cousin Itt has been moved to the North side now from the East side as Itt was getting in the way of my chair in the corner ...

Mine is back in the greenhouse now. I'm going to take cuttings of it in the summer.
Do you get berries on yours @Victoria ?

 

Yes, we do Michael. i just love the plant, so soft and touchable.

 

I bought twp Rhipsallis cassuitha this morning (J said to get two as he likes them) ...





We are trying them under the alpendre out front and see how they go there.

 

We have named them The Twins ... Danny and Arnie ...


The other R baccifera is Cousin Itt ...

 

Haven't looked at Cousin Itt for months ...

I just can't believe how fast he is growing ... he is forgotten!
