How about having another referendum every single time the polls change?

    Surely that will satisfy everybody.

I thought the polls showed everybody wants to leave! All depends on the poll.

JC is a waste of oxygen, he's being manipulated by others as he can't make his own decisions and coming across very poorly. TM is well, um, er, I just cannot describe it. 'Lost' is maybe the only word that's close.

A third bite of the cherry for her deal that is generally accepted as awful (and no-one states why), and only when all other options have been sheered away and everyone has been ground down, and only then does this 'deal' have a tiny chance as all the politicians have become so damned scared of the no deal and I'll bet they can't say the reasons for that either! They are wholly a detestable, pitiful, unworthy bunch.

I am completely with you Redwing and Loofah..

TM, JC have no idea still on how we should exit.. TM was a” remainer” and it shows...

No on, not even UKips Farage had any idea how we would leave... Such sad sorry state we are in now. No proper plan and all arguing amongst themselves and not one of the capable imho....

Plus, if the SNP (who support a second referendum on Brexit) get another Independence Referendum, and if they won, surely they wouldn't object to a clause that if opinion subsequentley changed against independence, there would be further referenda with the option of rejoining the UK (and then further referenda with the option to re-leave if opinion changed again).

        Where do you stop?

The simple answer to that is you stop when the politicians get the answer they want to hear.

If the public cant get it right then they have to step in and put us back on the straight and narrow.

Well, at least that's how it appears to me.;)

They have had nearly 3 yrs to come up with a plan, the problem is they have spent the greater part of that time trying to stop it happening, instead of getting on with the planning.

Did anyone hear Farage saying TMs deal is worse than staying in the EU?
Wish I had the link, he said it on bbc news.
If he thinks that, as a stalwart of leaving, what does that say?

This country muddles on year after year despite being led by Cretins in Westminster labour, tory and liberal.

We re told we dont have the money to treat peoples cancers properly, equip the police to control crime, fix the roads, equip the schools properly, look after the needy etc etc etc.

But we have £39 BIllION POUNDS to give away to the Europeans. Thats our money, our tax money taken from us. It doesnt grow on a magic tree in No10's back garden.

How much do they give us though ? I’d have to research it but I know lots of projects / towns have eu funding. Like I say though, I don’t know the numbers.
                My issue is....
people think it’s ok for tm to take her deal back to a vote, even after historic defeats ...... her statement of “the people voted” doesn’t seem to apply to the parliament. Even when whipped they can’t agree!

We get loads back in funding for this that and the other. There's a lot of projects who are going to really struggle after we leave and a lot of that research and brains is going to go abroad cos that's where the money will be. There's a lot of benefit to being in the EU, no matter how often we are told there isn't and it's all one-way traffic.

We paid europe 13 Billion pounds last year. Europe spent 4 Billion in Britain last year. 9 Billion pound difference.

Yet we still live and suffer under austerity in the UK .

Oh and by the way if we scrap brexit and decide to stay it will cost us 18 Billion pounds a year because we have now lost the rebate by buggering about.

The government announced the other day they give 100million to the police to battle the hundreds of stabbing murders and violent crime.

Thats about the same amount of money we give to europe every 3 days.

Oh yeh and we also spend 65 Billion pounds on NATO every year. An organisation set up to defend Europe. We dont even have coastguard ships to defend our coast from people in rubber boats.

We spend 2% of our gdp on Nato whereas Germany only spends 1.2%

The next time you hear an Mp say we cant afford to spend money here in the Uk they are lying to you because we have the money but we prefer to watch our own people suffering whilst feeling good about spending nearly 100 Billion abroad every year.

I'm not sure your figures are correct, Tam. I only had a quick look but I think the EU paid back more than that.

And austerity has nothing to do with the EU. That's a Tory policy to make money out of us. None of the Tory big boys or their big business funders are suffering any austerity. Usually the Tories sell stuff off to make a fortune but they have done that so often there's nothing left to sell. So now they've found another way to skin us.

All in this together, my arse.

Your right regards the all in it together. What a load bs that is. The sad thing about the whole saga is personally im pro Europe but voted brexit because of the way europe is run.

My belief is in the near future Europe will go bust, the rules will be rewritten and a new european union will be born that will include the UK as a whole or England and Scotland separately rejoining.
