Well I'm not sure about him.
I think he saw where it was heading and wanted no part of it, May was tying his hands, he was the negotiator but she was pulling the strings, that's why eventually she did the deal her self.

Strikes me she knew he was a prat too.IMHO it's all been most unfortunate that the PM hasn't been able to trust any of her cabinet from day one..I also think she may have been a little pig headed and wanted to do it her way but I'd love to be a fly on the way at these meetings and see if anyone actually chirps up and says what the actually mean .

      Well she picks the cabinet!!!
She was the one that decided to go for a Brexit with 50 % or more of remainers, including her self.

Yes, it’s everyone else just like she said in her speech...
Perhaps if she hadn’t interfered and let her appointed bureaucrats get on with and not frustrated it all *perhaps* it would be a different situation. Do I believe that? No. I believe that this shower of shite were destined to fail and did not from the outset have the capability to give a good performance. She was supposed to be a competent leader and has proven to be an abhorrent mess.
          Her end is nigh.

My local MP is a Mr Kwasi Kwarteng - currently 'Minister for Leaving the EU' - - I am really, really looking forward to the next local elections and he is canvassing, as that is going to be one hell of a discussion on my doorstep :stirpot:

Thank you for the link, Redwing. I had tried other links which didn't work, but was successful with the one you gave.

I think IMO most if not all MP's don't deserve our votes anymore. These so called professionals promise you the earth pre-election and all us surfs get is the :steamy:

My local council is no better; next time there is an election, national or local I will go to the polling booth and tell them just what I think of the shysters.

too true. They're all the same - full of self-interest. It feels like honesty and integrity no longer exists.

We haven't voted for 10 years because there's no one good to vote for, we've only had one MP which was any good, since then, well, the one which was any good i sent him a letter about a big problem and he done something to get it sorted :dbgrtmb:
