I'm going to be brave sneak a quick pic of me in during the afternoon, when hope everyone's snoozing, and join the gang! My son was getting bored in Paris, looking round all the art galleries (drool), and took a few out of focus, but interesting pics of me! I don't mind this one too much...

Hi susannah ... long time no speak and pleased to see you back. Thank you for your lovely comments ... the big day was 29 April so it's official. The hair above is the new style from the one a couple of pages ago. Come on, let's see that new funky style which Cookie said I should have but bottled out. :rolleyes:

And hey JB, nice to see you at last and what a fab photo your son took ... very sexy and that "out of focus, movie star look" which t'other half was trying to capture with me in the last two.

Well I have been shy (me shy I hear you say...pull the other one Hel) far too long on here come July it will be a full year since I joined you all.

So here goes this is me.

I'm afraid the Medusa-like curls is all my own I'm cursed (blessed really) with natural flowing curls from the the roots to the ends it takes an awful lot of hair spray to 'do' the front bit I can tell you and I'm afraid I have no intention of growing old gracefully and I'm hanging onto my long hair it tumbles right down my back almost to my bum I'm wearing it up in picture.

I only hope now you have seen me I haven't turned you all to stone with my looks or cheesy smile! Hel.xxx.

 

Well nice to meet you hel, and everyone else its wierd puttin faces to names isn't it anyway this is me with my daughter on her prom night last year ( she's the pretty one on right, as if you couln't guess )

I have to admit it is funny seeing pictures of the people you 'talk' to on the forum I always think of it being more like a blind date it takes some of us a little more courage to go on one than it does others, but if I can finally be brave enough to 'show' myself I'm sure others can too.

Kazy - that's a lovely mum and daughter pic - you have just made me realize that because both mum and I are shy about having our photo taken, I don't think I actually have a photo of us both together on it.... :confused:.

Anthony - Quasimodo...? NEVER! but ... YAY another member of my scruffy hair brigade!! We read to know we're not alone!!!! :D:p You've got a lovely friendly face with laughing eyes! My mum isn't too far from Bristol if you want any spare red hot pokers or anything - she always needs some space and is happy to give stuff to a good home! PS She goes to the Lansdown car boot too - I think I saw you mention it. :thumb:
