    Hi everyone,

    Total beginner here so apologies for maybe a daft question. I’ve a couple of things in my garden that I’d just like to know what they are! Any suggestions welcome. Please see pictures below.

    The second photo looks like sucker-growth from the roots of a white poplar tree.... have you got a big tree nearby?
