          Nothing so queer (can we use that word?) as folk.

          It is great, thank you. Slightly sore but taking the antibiotic and using special mouthwash. Dental Nurse just called, stitches out next Monday at 2pm, Think I can manage chicken risotto for dinner tonight. T'other Half made it over the weekend so just have to heat up, yum, only had mash with lots of butter and cheese last night.

            The winds have been the main feature of the day with no rain or snow appearing. The temperature has struggled to get above 40f and is now at 41f, the skies are cloudy with small patches of blue, and the pressure reading is 987hpa.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

                Clear skies here but hellishly cold and really gusty. Bird feeding station has blown over again. Went out and filled up the feeders and put more food out for all the animals but came straight back inside. Not been out since. Dogs arent even bothered about going out-were all snuggled up inside.

                  Same here @Snorky85 , beautifully clear and sunny but breezy and cold. We were predicted to have hail this afternoon but so far no sign of any. Our bird feeders ended up down our lane the other day it was so windy!!

                    @Upsydaisy, you couldn't upset anyone :)

                    Weather clearly can't make it's mind up at the moment - howling wind and rain over the weekend and now properly cold winds (although no snow like those further north are getting), and then of course we have Dennis to look forward to this coming weekend. Thank goodness for central heating.

                        Ach, I think we all do that - and in fact, I think it is better that way. I'd rather have someone like you that is a straight talker, because at least there is no doubt about what you are thinking or feeling. As for offence, well sometimes people take offence (too flamin' quickly nowadays to be blunt about it), or even just plain old get the wrong end of the stick, but at the end of the day it is just that... a wee bit of offence. They get over it, nobody died or got hurt, and everyone is entitled to their own thoughts and opinions.

                        If I had to zip it under those circumstances, I would rarely say anything :heehee: (and most folks would think that to be a good thing)
