What flowers to grow on the allotment?

    As i will be buying my veg seeds shotly can anyone recommend some flowers to grow for my allotment.

    Not really interested in bringing them home as such, but ive heard some are usefull for keeping pests at bay and increasing the amount of bee's, birds etc

    Try some Pot Marigolds, and some Nasturtiums .

    I also crow Candy Tuft near the runner beans, as they attract the bee's.

    I'd grow sweet peas, I shall be growing some with my runner beans :)

    Lavender also attracts Bees bigtime, as do Sweat peas (already mentioned).

    Limnanthes Douglasii-Poached egg plant attracts hoverflies which eat aphids, nemophila apparently do the same thing.

    Clarkia concinna 'Pink Ribbons' -1 Packet (1000 Seeds) £0.50
    Nasturtium 'Ladybird' -1 packet (30 seeds) £0.80
    Sweet Pea 'Blue Ripple' -1 packet (25 seeds) £0.50
    Sweet Pea 'Lilac Ripple' -1 Packet (25 seeds) £0.50
