          I suppose they come from streams and wet places in the locality, there are lots of marshy fields around here.

            Thursday was the last day that i had a clear head,..i was invited to a wedding for Friday last it went well into the night,..next day from early evening there was a party in the local Bar for family of the Bride,..i gave a helping hand on both occasions,..just prior to the wedding i was given a plant,..in fact the only plant i wished for,..one of the people invited to the wedding grows Organic Veg and sells plants as well,..turned up before the wedding with 'Alstroemeria colorita' below.

                  Thanks Vicky,..i was not expecting anything and i made a point of not wanting anything for the little i put in,..someone must have put in a word for my wish for an Alstroemeria,..oh boy it was a heady wedding,..plus the next day for 5 hours of Brandy and Ginger Ale,..our measure of brandy is a quarter measure where as in England its a fifth,..just over 10 euro :ccheers:.

                  A very well organized wedding,..all of the lead people were booked into the Lodge the night before,..hairdresser and make up people were also there on the morning.

                                Thanks Michael,..they always seem to take root for me,..just lucky i think,..i just cut off a cutting from below a bud on a new shoot,..prepare a pot with wet soil,..poke a hole near the side,..dip the cutting in rooting powder then wait for the roots to show bottom of the pot then repot into a bigger pot,..i know everyone knows this,..but just in case someone is looking in who wants to have a go at having a new rose :)
