You beat me to it Pete. I've just identified it on the web as Canna 'Tropical Sunrise'.

Edit: Having taken a second look it seems it isn't 'Tropical Sunrise'?

Nice canna, strangely I saw one just like this at Morrisons today for £5 "Cannova Rose" but not entirely sure that it is - there are lots of varieties.

Bacopa is the little trailing plant with white flowers, they are hardy down here and flower all summer - wonderful little ground cover plant.

Thanks John. I know very little about Cannas which is why I couldn't identify it. Yes, I recognised Bacopa in the pot. :) This id was for a friend of my daughter's in Canada.

Pale pink with darker centre is Impatiens.
              Blue is trailing lobelia.
Looks like a begonia back left as well.

I'm still trying to track down the variety of this Canna. The nearest I've found is 'Happy Isabel', can anyone confirm that for me please?

It could be, thanks John. The colour is similar to 'Happy Isabel'.

Just appears to be lots that all look the same to me.
I think there is even some that have a couple of different names which causes confusion.

I find this the same with Hibiscus rosa-sinensis. Also different names if they are North American or European.

Yes and if in Canada they will be called something different again.

Hart Canna hold the National Collection worth looking at their catalogue to get an idea of the sheer number of very similar varieties
