Spotted growing in the trunk of a Dicksonia antartica at Glendurgan Gardens, Cornwall.
Not a native but any ideas? Awaiting response from the Horticultural staff.

Yes kingianum is supposed to be relatively hardy, but I'd take the terms "supposed" and "relatively" with a large pinch of salt

Agreed, but taking the location into consideration, they should be more than happy.
They have a couple Wollemia nobilis (Wollemi pine) , one of which is 1000% happier than any others I have seen in UK, with the exception of the one on Tresco. The second one is in a bit more of an exposed position.

I think Wollemi pine must be reasonably hardy as its grown in various places around the UK, I think you might need frost free for this Orchid.

Agreed. The reason I mentioned the Wollemi pine, is that most of the examples I have seen, in the UK, appear to be "very unhappy chappies", and really appear to be having a hard time of it. Nothing like those growing in Oz.
I've attached some pics of the one I had in Oz.

That's nice, well its in its own habitat and presumably frost free, I've not seen the ones at Kew for a long time now and I think they had quite a few at Wakehurst but they might have taken a pounding this last winter.
Its probably better on the western side of the UK.

There are some very strong fine specimens growing in Inverewe gardens.
