Poultry registration consultation

Defra have announced a proposal to change the registration threshold from flocks of 50 birds to ALL kept birds. If you have representations you wish to make, see attached.

With the scant resources they have makes you wonder how they will ever make this work...there must be so many tiny flocks allover the place.

 

Its not just chickens, guinea fowl, ponds with ducks and geese, peacocks, racing pigeons, dovecots , any avian species not confined to a cage or aviary......
