Must say I'm well pleased. In an era of ever increasing bills, it is nice to have one that hasn't jumped by a double-digit percentage!

I saw a Ladybird :dbgrtmb: we don't get many of those here these days.

There is no letter K in the Welsh alphabet @Cordy, the letter C is always pronounced as in Cordy ... or cat.

Saw this today and it made me smile (really nice idea too). It's a very sheltered front door so the vase shouldn't be blown about too much.

You were jammy with that insurance @ViewAhead. Mine went up a huge amount this year, for no apparent reason, and everywhere was the same or more expensive.
What happens when someone knocks on the door though @LG_ ....? :heehee:

To be honest, I think they use the back door more. But a knuckle rap should do it

I have to say I was expecting it to jump, so it was a nice surprise. As was going to the dentist yesterday, knowing I had broken a chunk off a filling way back before Christmas and thinking it would need an expensive replacement, but no. He filed down a rough edge and we are going to leave it be as it is a tooth I have had root trouble with and disturbing it may not be helpful. :hapydancsmil:

Doesn't good luck go in threes @ViewAhead - wonder what'll happen for you today!

I'm just enjoying the few good days we're having, so today I'm off for a small hill walk - I may not be so happy when I get the thigh burn tomorrow....

Well, my third thing is I've just had a quote for replacing my 25 yr old boiler. It's a little more than I was hoping, but there we are. The money I saved (or rather, didn't spend) on insurance and the dentist can go towards it.

                        Enjoy your walk. :blue thumb:

I turned on the water for the garden hosepipe yesterday evening and heard that something wasn’t right and turned it off. It turned out the the part that was fixed last year for £125 failed. OH contacted 3 plumbers yesterday evening. The first one came rang the bell at 10 today, fixed it ( did the same what last years chap did) and had finished a half an hour later. £60.
                            I kept his details
