Sunny quite calm, 22c going to 30c+. I dislike July/\August so will hibernate for the Summer and stay in the shade.

A chilly wind again, quite a stiff breeze. Heavy cloud, overcast and grey.

Max 16c today with heavy cloud and light winds. A good day for shrub removal. Very dry ground.

Quite a few bumble bees, especially on the bottle brush. No butterflies or moths at night. We call the large moths "bob howlers", but haven't seen any for a while. They usually come banging on the kitchen window, when the light is on.

Still 12°C, and a stiff, cold breeze has got up now, just to make it feel extra wintry. Overnight minimum temperatures for the coming week are 7° and 8° while daytime maximums are 13° to 15°C.

When I went out to feed the birds at 7am I could see my breath in the still air.

I hope you both feel better soon @Valleysgirl. Shame you can’t go today as weather here looks dry with sunny spells.

After several days of lovely warm weather for our short holiday in the Lake District we have come back to Norfolk. Today is chilly, grey and it rained in the night. It was probably hot here too while we were away because the garden is dry.

We reached our high at 4 o'clock (normal) and it was 33,2c, now 32.6c with not a hint of a breeze so stiffling although only 49% humidity thankfully.

About half an hour's sunshine this morning. The rest of the day has been grey and breezy with a couple of short, light showers this afternoon. 11C/52F heading into single figures for the next few days. :frown:

At least this afternoon i could get Berry to go for his walks, he doesn't like the sun, even when it's not really hot. I have to take him later.
