What's your weather like August 2024

Started off full sun, but then it changed to sunny intervals. About 20c now and very pleasant. Very still and quiet. When it's windy the trees make so much noise so it's nice to have it quiet.

I managed to finish painting the soffits, but now notice all the bruises on my legs from leaning on the ladder! But the weather was just right.

I think some rain is due next week.

 

Just having a cuppa outside and it’s lovely - 21 ish with a gentle breeze.

 

Down to 31.3c now ... still too hot for me to sit outside ... has to have a 2 at the beginning.

 

After a sunny morning is been turning hazier all afternoon almost a totally cloudy sky now.

Cooler than recently at 22c.

 

Who hoo, down to 25.8c so had a pleasant hour's sit out and now in for salad dinner.

 

About 20C in Aberdaron this afternoon. We were on a coach trip! Lovely place, gorgeous in fact, but difficult for coaches to park. Tested the driver’s skills to the limit. He passed the test!

Misty, but dry start here. O'night low of 6 degrees [8 just now at approx. 8am] and a predicted high of about 19 degrees, although it'll obviously be hotter in the sun. First totally dry 24 hours for a while, and only about the third this month. I empty the gauge around this time every day, and nothing this morning.

Total rainfall for August is 247 mm.

Yesterday was a mix of cloud, some sunny spells, and a decent breeze. Mostly cloudy though. The high was about 17 degrees.
