    Hi,

I planted some chard seedlings indoors several weeks back. They are doing OK with decent leafy growth but are very leggy and toppling over themselves. Can I bury the stems up to the leaves to straighten them out and support them as you can with some other seedlings (e.g. tomato) or would that not work?

I would say that you have probably planted them too early (I've not done mine yet).
My suggestion is that you could try increasing the soil depth if you have the space to spare, but would be better to plant a replacement crop about now.
Out of interest, where have you been keeping them?

Sow again but plant them out anyway.

Mine did the same last year and I just buried them deeper. I didn't have any die off, so they didn't seem to mind, and they looked normal after a while. You could also use them for microgreens if you wanted to sow again.
I tend to succession sow chard.
