Saw the first pf the wild cowslips out today. The wild primroses are late this year and only started last Thursday. Next will be the proper bluebells and the wild white asphodèles.

Yes I've spotted a couple, sadly only after I'd already trampled one whilst weeding.

On my way to Carmarthen there's a bank, must be about 50 yds long, and it's full of Primroses. It would be difficult to find a space between them, it's a mass of yellow and looks wonderful in the sunshine.
I couldn't get a photo because it's along the busy A40 road but I always slow down to see them (much to the annoyance of cars racing up behind me but I don't care !)

No, it's on the A40 near Nantgaredig. The Primroses have been really good this year, and in my garden too there are big clumps of them.

@Michael Hewett Agree with you about the primroses this year. Our garden is full of them and we never planted any of them. In the dusk they seem to glow. They started flowering in December and they get better and better even after I harvested enough flowers for 4 demijons for primrose wine. They don't mind me pinching their flowers as they just keep producing more.
Saw our first clumps of cowslips on the embankments of the M27.
