I have a lot of seed and cutting compost and was wondering if it is ok to use it for bedding plants in pots instead of multi purpose? Thanks

Seed and cutting compost contains less fertiliser than multipurpose compost, so you'd need to feed your plants sooner, or add some slow-release fertiliser granules when you plant up the containers. Apart from that, I don't see any reason not to use it if you don't need it for seeds and cuttings. Last time I bought some I think it was more expensive than multipurpose.
