Clear day , very breezy Trees and shrubs out my front garden wooshing about . Sun just came through good it’s Volunteering day down the Walled garden lots to do getting ready for our annual Have a grow day in June. 12C now maybe rain around 5 o’clock.

Good morning all ,another dry sunny day with a high of 18c,not a drop of rain in sight.

 

Yesterday there was about a pint of water in the first water butt after the "rain". Today will be dry, sunny and around 21c.

 

Sunny, calm, 15c going to 21c. Rain is back on the forecast for early afternoon with a thunderstorm,. We love thunderstorms.

BBC forecast gives no indication of any rain until 26th May and then only a possible 30% chance of light rain.

We'd love a thunderstorm. Can't complain though as it's full sun and 23c. Breezy and very pleasant.

There was a very bright moon last night, but not sure it was completely full - it had a slight dent on one side.

It is up to 54f 11c and cloudy. The guessers said it will rain this morning so as soon as it got light I went out to plant the annuals around the perennials in my new front garden. Hopefully they weren't lying and they shall all get watered in for free !

 

An unexpected shower about 10am and sunny intervals since - hot in the sun when washing car.

 

We haven't had any rain for nearly 2 months. The ground is like concrete. The water butts (we have 4) are nearly all empty. We use the rain water for our orchids and carnivorous plants but that will soon have to change. There is only some much watering you can do and of course it never is as good as rain.

 

Thunder watch… anyone have some yet? I can see Brighton to Bath lit up on app.
