    Hi All
I know there have been a few threads on this but thought I’d share my individual situation and photos. My mother has a camelia which has thrived in the same spot for years. A few months back (since Christmas) we repotted it and it was doing ok but has suddenly (last week to ten days) taken a turn for the worse. Given the photos can anyone diagnose a specific issue ?
    Thank you :)

    I'd say its dead.
Did it dry out after repotting, its very easy for the original root ball to dry out before the roots move into the new compost.
The other thing could possibly be contaminated compost that you repotted it with.

      Hi

did you just move to a bigger pot ? what compost did you use ?

to me it looks like it wasn’t watered as it’s been so hot and dry , even left for a couple off days without water can cause this

I’ll check which compost was used and examine the rootball as well. My mother says she’s been watering it but perhaps not enough. I’m hoping it’s not actually diseased.
